“How has fluid flushing changed in the last few years?

If you like to watch video see link below if not read on. Thanks.

Todays’ topic “How has fluid flushing changed in the last few years?”

Here some basic changes over the last few years.

First fluid specifications have changed greatly. We on the service desk check the electronic repair manual on each vehicle to be serviced to make sure that all fluids meet or exceed the vehicle requirements.

Second many vehicles now have electronic steering that does not contain fluid and required no flushing.

Third CVT transmissions are becoming more popular in many vehicles’. These do not require flushing. Actually flushing can cause issues in this type transmissions.

As you can see the automotive industry is constantly changing and growing. We daily are learning new and different ideas and procedures. Even the blogs I have recently done will be shortly out dated. That is why the front counter service advisors are so critical to good vehicle maintenance. Each day after day it is something new. That knowledge is then passed to the clients to save them time and money.
